Spent Wednesday working on the rear lights... You may remember I bought a European rear nearside (to us) light cluster, so the reverse lights are now the indicators, and the fog lights are now the tail and brake lights.

I'm adding a fog and reverse to each bottom edge (i.e. left and right) of the tailgate, and the number plate and light are going on the spare wheel cover...

No photos as it was just a bit of wiring and fiddling with bulb holders to make them fit, will take one at the end when it's all complete though ;)

Fitted yesterday! -

Stick cut, bent and welded to the right shape...

2-High

4-Low B)

Finally mobile again...! Or not... I didn't have any oil "in stock" yesterday in the garage, and I wasn't paying Halford prices, so I waited for my oil suppliers to open this morning, filled the box and went for a test drive! B)

A nice quiet 'lobster box, speedo bang on, gearing fantastic, nice and nippy through the gears despite the 29"s (235/75/15s) fitted... Easily did 70mph on the the North Wales Expressway...!

Just a few tidying up jobs to do now then... and fit the bucket seats, and rebuild the front axle and steering as the kingpins need doing, the previous owner supplied the bits for one side as he said it had a wobble (which I couldn't get it to do today?), and I've got a steering damper to fit too...

More soon then, now my mo-jo has mostly returned to normal ;)

It's mostly just nuts'n'bolts Dan?

It's a shame that Rockwatt can't supply the transfer stick pre-bent ready... Although I understand they are all slightly different (mine has a 1" bodylift for instance), that's the only awkward bit about the install...
