Got the nod from the Eye Consultant yesterday, the contact lense "eye bandage" is now out, and I felt ready to get back to the spannering! 
Started with a new CB aerial on the back door, as the one on the front bumper keeps getting ripped off for some reason? :woohoo:
And then turned my attention to the rear winch's solenoid -
The old one was in a plastic box on the rear tow bar that's now a winch mount
Errr, no wonder it wasn't working very well... it spooled in, but not out...

Quick trip to the local plumbers merchants...
Quick hole in the floor
Tank connector used as a grommit!
Will fill it full of clear mastic when I've finished the wiring to make it water tight...
Neat little install in the corner...

That kind of ingenuity has all sorts of possibilities, Dave, (the Wallace & Grommit, I mean :whistle: )....love it, given me lots of ideas.....
