I had a tinker today to swop the red and yellow around but made no differents, I unplugged the aerial but still had power. Will try Swopping the red and orange tomorrow will also check the configuration of the plug from old head unit to the replacement

I don't know of any Jimnys that came with an ISO audio harness, so you might have the original wires cut in order to put ISO connectors instead of the stock Clarion harness.
There are two connectors on a regular head unit: B for speakers (4 speakers, 8 pins) and A for power/switched power/ground/etc.
Get the Jimny wiring diagrams and together with this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ISO_10487_connector_pinout.svg try to arrange them properly.

Will have a proper look tomorrow my back is playing me up at the moment probably from all this crawling around under the dash, i'm no whiper snapper any more
