But for a little bit more effort they might have saved that or even prevented it entirely. Im not saying it looked easy but it shouldn't have been that hard. I'm sure it would drive out of where it landed.

I dont have any off road experiance like that situation
Im guessing it would have been better going down in first gear using the engine as braking instead of using the foot brake?
