Sell your bits!
NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

This is incorrect. So long as the seller is VAT registered and the buyer is too, VAT can be claimed on used van sales.

That is excatly what I meant, most LCVs are private purchase, so the VAT is paid up and done

VAT is quite complex and only applies to the business use of the vehicle. So if you buy a van and use it 100% for business you can reclaim all of the VAT.  However, if you use it for personal use as well as business you can only claim the proportion of VAT which corresponds to business use.  HMRC are getting quite keen on this now.

Our system is a bit different.

One claims VAT back at purchase, but you CANNOT remove the partition and it'll be a 2 seater for 5 years.

Obviously you have to have a business VAT for the deal, but you are allowed to do whatever pleases you with it, leasure, work whatever.

If you can't remove the partition, it's only of use to fairly short drivers.  I'm 5'10", not tall by the standards of younger generations, but I had to remove the cage and space the top of the partition back by 60mm.

We are from a line of Lilliputians, we do fit.

Funny thing is, now that you mention it, I see many girls driving the Gen4, whereas the earlier iterations are always a male's off road thing.

Mine is a 4 seater. And it's my workhorse (farmer)
