can't get the horn !

hi guys . the horn on me jimny has stopped working . no obvious loose wires . i can hear a clicking under the steering wheel area ,anything easy i can check there ? relay etc . i hate electrics !!!
probably not related but i recently changed the drivers seat belt as it wasn't retracting . the little yellow plug was different so i couldn't plug the airbag switch back in . can i cut it off and bullet connector the old plug on. or best leave well alone ?

My horn stopped working on a SJ i had. removed it from the car and sprayed with WD40 and shook it for a while, left on a flat surface for the WD40 to flow inside it and the next day it sort of came alive again. It sounded like a deranged goat for a while, but came around finally after more WD40.
Road salt and dirt gets inside it being mounted facing front into the spray from the car in front of you.
As you know, the car in front seldom keeps its proper distance as they often drive too slow for the 3 seconds of space they sould maintain

If we used the horn more it wouldn't get stuck and silent. Guess this never happens in southern Europe..

edit: You should connect the plug on the seat belt as there is a pyrotechnic thing in there supposed to tighten your seat belt if the before mentioned idiot in front of you suddenly stops..

If you're messing with the yellow connectors
disconnect the battery an hour before you start
as they're all to do with air bag deployment

so your saying lube it up and whack it about and i should be able to get the horn again ?!?!?!?! lol
might just buy a new one to try that then .
as for belt i kept the old belt so i can cut off the connector is that safe to do ? or am i better looking for one with correct connector ? i can post a pic so i can get correct one ?
