Welcome to the club mate. Never driven an auto jimny but I have used auto's off road and love them.
Good luck with your search for a new toy.

Sounds like that will be a good start
But the bug might bite and you will be modding it more

Had a Vitara few years back and was really impressed where i got in that ,got a ranger now ,good for carrying the dogs etc but bit heavy and big for me off road , got few extras on that lol only reason i went for Ranger over Jimny was motorway driving but i dont go over 70 MPH and I've read Jimmy sits nice about 67MPH ?

Transfer box guard and a good set of tyres and a jimny will go just about anyware.
Yes you can lift it and fit a big set of tyres but try it standard 1st as its great standard.
