I'm still WFH, so sat in the spare room/converted office all day and no 2 1/2 hour round trip commute, the first year of ownership I did 12,500 miles.4286? Wow I really must try harder not to drive everywhere, I've done 8496 since last June!

2 and a half hour commute, dear gods no that sounds tedious!

Wasn't too bad to be honest, was a nice drive over A & B roads, no motorway, just under an hour to get there as I set off about 05:30. Longer to get home due to traffic.
27 miles the way I went, motorway is 42 miles and gets snarled up along.

Well yesterday I made a start on fitting the
Fridge Slide
. I kept changing my mind on which side to have it on? I will probably leave this in all the time and just fit the drawer unit when needed.
I opted for the drivers side hoping I would still be able to use rear passenger seat if needed.
This is just the initial first fit, it may change when the drawer unit is in, as I might try and link them together for extra security.
First thing to do was trim the base board down to shape.
Then I thought I could use the existing metal tie-down points.
I made a hook-type-thing out of some 1" flat bar, this should stop any side to side movement.
And added some nuts to the underside of the base.
Hook in the metal plate and position the slide unit.
I hade to raise the runners from the bottom of the runner housing to the top to make room for the metal hook-type-thing.
The rear end is secured with a strap and piece of flat bar for reinforcement to the Rear Footwell Bracket I made back in 2020
It does feel pretty well secured, I am going to live with it for a while and see how I get on with it. I have just left the base board on the left side as is for now. That will probably get trimmed to suit the drawer unit.
I think I'll have to upgrade to a fridge now I have the slide

Today I have removed my Osram LEDriving Fog Lights as the brain has gone on the blink. I have refitted the original units, but with LED upgraded bulbs as supplied by Martin in the shop.
It is a shame really as the fog lights on them are brilliant! Not only do they give a nice low wide beam, they actually look like they are turned off to oncoming traffic (unlike the chavs that drive round with them on all the time!).
I am going to look into whether i can reconfigure the wiring and get the appropriate connector to have them as dumb lights without the brain.
Here is the Osram fog light beam.
Here is the standard Suzuki fog light beam
