It's a good insurance policy is having one of those, it means that whatever else you hurt under the car you've got some chance of maintaining drive to get you to safety.

Soeley, did you have to reduce the length of the bolts that Jimnybits supplied? They looked long to begin with. Very solid looking guard, good value for money too.

Soeley. I read you had a problem with the LED headlights being set too high. I have the same problem but the Jimny is on a tiny Greek island with no dealer. Any idea how they made the adjustment?

So I was busy on Saturday fitting my auxiliary fuse box. I made this for my previous car, to allow the fitting of extra electricals without tapping into the original wires and fuses. With this set up, only one cable is required to run to the battery through the bulkhead.
One fuse box is permanent live the other ignition live via the relay. The relay is tapped into the front power socket for activation.
The next stage will be to hardwire my dashcam into it and a phone charging point which I will have permanent live.
So this is the board has I had it fitted to my Toyota iQ.
A bit of rearranging and it now looks like this to fit behind the glove box of the Jimny.
A spare stud poking out the under felt was used to secure the bottom left corner. They are like a self tapping thread so the buckle from a cable tie pushed on nicely.
In situ, the top right is sandwiched behind the fan blower mount and bracket.
Power Magic Pro wired in and Dashcam connected all wires now hidden away up the A-post and behind the headlining.
