First wheel done

Decided that I'm going to treat and paint the underneath the Jimny... white! So it's Matt Black on top and White on bottom. Will keep it updated.

For now next on my shopping list.

Unfortunately seems that the front bearing has gone so first up...
•Front Axle Kingpin Swivel Bearings
•and all the bits that come with it and might as well be done at the same time
•Suzuki Jimny Front Axle Differential Guard
•other guards but haven't decided what yet

Started underselling the chassis and basically trying to future proof it.
White chassis and Red detail is the theme :)

Then changed my mind about the colour.

Arches, Bumper and Trim off and Trimmed down metal underneath.
First couple of coats not looking too bad!
Needs fine sanding and final coats doing as well as the roof :)

Trimmed the arches and got some stiff plastic from my mother in law so I made inner archers with it.
This stuff is heat moulded too! It's the stuff in the heal of trainers just for interesting fact!

Went for L shaped Brackets riveted on with Black Rivets for contrast :)

Sneak peak of the nearly finished back

Oh and this happened so I'm going to go for a straight exhaust like the motorcycle ones I've seen about ;)

It's got trimmed arches so it's probably just a trick to the eye haha

Well this maybe a marmite moment!
I decided to go a little daft and different... Still needs more grey but so far...

And it suits the mud!

Also got a before and after of my new spacers just to show the difference!

Looking funky!

Have you left enough room in those rear arches for the tyres to tuck in?

They go up quite a long way on full compression... further than this when things are in motion.
