Hi all!
Been browsing the site for a few days after buying myself a new toy/run about a week ago!
Already the sites helped me fix a vacuum issue and check for issues :) so thanks!

Here's my new Jimny as I bought it... Already changed bits will update this with the process

Welcome and after seeing some newer models over your way quite surprised it hasn't rusted away.

Its pretty clean! I'm happy the only bad spot was under the jack in the boot dip and rusted right through!
Job for the weekend I think!

My progress... 2inch Spacers and Fourtrak wheels.

And a couple of lights fitted

Then this happened...

After an accident writing it off! Grrr I decided the new look would be aggressive! Matt Black starts and trimmed bumper!

So... As I was fixing the Jimny...

This Happened.

Yup Empty drive! Stolen over night after breaking into and finding the spare key in my wifes car.

Thankfully after posting on Facebook I got a tip off and the Police Helicopter found her!
So after £150 for the recovery fee I got her back

So since it was nicked, I decided before taking it for a VIC check (Due to the write off from the accident as I didn' claim on insurance for the theft) I would do all the oils etc.

During I lost my molegrips.
Until a couple of days later I found them

After the VIC it went in for the MOT (Cat C Write off requires new MOT)

It FAILED.

But soon passed after a little work

Covered them in sealants to stop it happening again.

Finally after all that I got a new Ticket
Then sorted this...

Thanks to J999PRE

Should I??!?!
255-70-15 compared to 215-75-15's that are on it

You are far better off with the 215's that are on it than those wider tyres.
