General question. If you have added a 50mm lift, should you not also ad spacers to where swaybar connect to chassis.

Your opinions.

Yes....although it will also need an offset rearward to allow for the different arc the axle now describes.....I removed mine.....no difference on-road other than single wheel hits on speedbumps are a little milder.

Best to remove it completely, but it will still operate normally in the standard position.
Adjustable drop links are available but there is only so much shorter you can go.

I've just launched a range of these -

There's 6mm, 12mm, 25mm available now, and 38mm going into production as soon as the bar stock arrives...

No, they're apparently different spacing between the bolt holes...

Hence my one single negative feedback :(

(The delivery time comment was unfair as they were shipped via eBay's Global Shipping Program!!!)

I'll have to order a bush metal loop strap (from Martin) to research and produce them for the Gen4...

Cheers,
Dave

Can I just Chime in on this? I bought this kit from Dave and its first class. I've also found Dave to be super supportive and helpful when it comes to trying to source bits and bobs locally . Cheers Dave

Can i just confirm having read this thread with interest and having just fit a 50mm lift that the total removal of the ARB is accepted practice.  Cheers

From my perspective it all "depends" onwhat you mean with 50mm lift.

Spacer lift ?
Spring lift ?
Proper stronger shocks ?

It is not accepted pactice but some do it, but they know the impact of such a removal.
