Hi All,

Both reverse lamps on my Jimny don't work.
The bulbs are OK.

Im guessing its the switch?

Any ideas?

Yep, you're probably right. Mine went and I've read of two others on here going since.

It's located on top of the gearbox and is tricky to see. There was a post about 2 months ago and some kind sole posted the spanner size, 22mm rings a bell.

You'll have to lay under the car in line with the gearbox and put a hand up round and poke your head round to see what you can but I did it largely by feel.

Obviously it has 2 wires attached to it.

I did it by laying on the top of the engine and reaching down behind. The switch is on top of the gear box. It wasn't too tricky to get to that way.
