another question for you knowledgeable guys and girls, does the jimny with M13AA engine (double overhead cam) run a timing belt or cam chain? what are the replacement times/mileage, if it is a belt?

Chain

Lasts the life of the engine (because when it breaks it kills the engine ;) )

Just keep changing the oil and filter and it will last a couple of hundred thousand miles.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Suzuki manual said 60.000, I replaced my cambelt at 32.000 when I got the jimny, if you do replace the cambelt get a replacement kit and a new water pump at the same time.
