Hi, I have started to do my king pin bearings and have encountered something which is not in the guide. I think it is the ABS ring and sensor - does anyone know how to remove this so that I can take off the backing plate and the hub and get on with the job of changing the bearings.

Any help, advice, photos etc would be VERY gratefully received! Thanks Mick

Hi Mick,

I did mine a few week's ago and didn't bother taking the ring off
just took the sensor off.

The sensor is a 10mm bolt and gently prize it out mine was
a bugger to come out as it was a really tight fit.

Is this the bolt you mean????

Thanks for getting back to me Jamie - there is a serrated cog between the backing disc plate and the hub - I can't get the ring spanner in there to remove the two bolts - how did you manage to do that?

I didn't bother taking it off i don't think you need to
i also left the backing plate on you don't really need to remove it.

My hub looked like this when i took it off!!!!

Yeah that's the cog I was talking about. I'll do as you suggest and hope it goes as well for me as it did for you! Thanks for the photo, it's a big help.
