That sounds about right for paying someone. A compressor, application gun and axle stands is a lot cheaper if you are prepared to get a bit dirty yourself.

I paid about that 5 years ago, for Dinatrol treatment.

A specialist garage near me which mainly does Underseal on Land Rovers are suggesting £750 for Dinatrol, but they have the car for 2 or 3 days, steam clean it and then remove any trim which is in the way.
I am still trying to decide if I should get it done, but might wait until it is warmer and drier, it will apply better.
The Dinatrol treatment is about £250 to buy if you are doing it yourself and if it takes 2 days, that’s how you end up at £800.
Waxoyl is usually cheaper, but still expect to pay £600+ at a garage, especially if they steam clean first.

Waxoyl needs topping up regularly. Dinatrol only needs touching up if you happen to scrape some off.

Have you considered using lanoguard?
I have used it on my 07 Jimny and I found it quite easy to apply albeit I smelt like a herd of sheep afterwards. It took a couple of days to do the underside as well as a liberal dose in the engine bay carefully avoiding the belts.
Cost me just under £150 with enough left to have another session which I will do in the Autumn.

2023 means Gen.4 and the standard factory underseal is very well applied. Last year my 3 year old had the benefit of a coat of bitumastic paint on the underside but I gave up half way because what the factory applied didn't show any wear or tear. I might finish the rest this year but only so the front matches the rear.
