This will be a blast. GT7 is adding a Gen 4 Jimny to its car roster in the January update.

Not sure if it will be the Japanese Kei engine version or the 1500cc world engine, but either way you will be able to mod it to your ideal Jimny setup.

Can't wait to see how it goes round Monza. I think that you could drink a whole cup of tea while it tootls down one of the straights.

Can you put it in 4WD for wet races?

I will find out as soon as they release the update, but I expect it will be 4wd only.

There are dirt tracks, a rallycross track and an ice race track already included and the updates usually add one or two more.

I'm wondering how long it will take to get it round Nurburgring?

Last night the Jimny arrived in GT7. It is the Japanese Kei 657cc engine & 4wd only.

With some basic changes including all the weight reduction options, mid range turbo, racing manifold & exhaust, fully adjustable gearbox & 20" BBS wheels, I managed a lap of Le Mans in around 5 mins 48 seconds with a top speed of 105mph while it was bouncing off the rev limiter.

I'll try dropping the suspension & fiddling with the gear ratios to see how much I can improve the lap time. My current best is in a power restricted output Lambo 4mins 4sec, but that could easily be beaten with a proper racing car & a less restricted setup.
