Hi everyone.
I'm Kerry and my husband is Lloyd.
I owned a samurai back in the day from 98 thru 2003.I  loved it to bits but i ran out of cash as i was only 19 when i bought it
(£1700) and it went wrong several times. In 2003 i had to part with it and it broke my heart.
My husband then and now, promised me one day that he would get me another Suzuki jeep and he did.
Last Oct we bought a new Jimny jeep from Suzuki Bilston, and apart from no back seats it actually seems to sound the same, drive the same and use petrol the same...loads.
I hope i've posted this in the right section, because i'd love to get to know you all and ask some questions about this bloody jeep. We'd really love to go to a meet as well if there's a midlands one or even a bit further afield.
We don't do internet much but i'll keep checking back here for replies(fingers crossed).
If the moderators think i have posted this wrong then please move it if you will.
Thanks.Kez.x

Welcome, your in the right place and feel free to ask questions. The New Jimny is just like samurai so much so I bought an SJ413 to restore as the new Jimny reminded me of my old SJ. This year we have our 2024 meet up near Leeds for Jimnys of all ages. The info is at the top of the forum.

Hi and welcome to the best Jimny forum.

The northern meet at Tong on 14/07/24 is a great event, with lots of Jimnys and owners of all ages, well worth going just to see so many Jimnys of all ages and modifications, then there is a graded off road course, from gravel tracks to steep muddy holes to have a go at if that’s your thing.

There are plenty of people on here with the same LCV as you so ask away.

Welcome to the forum. It's true what they say, once you have had 1 jimny you will want another. I'm only on my 5th!

Wecome!

What colour is it?
I might see you about, mine is a garish blue, and I'm Old, so Old that I have to wear a flat cap to drive it.

Give me a wave if I go past!

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Hi and welcome,
enjoy the Jimny and forum.
Plenty on here starting to feel old (how long have Doctors looked 10?), but driving a Jimny keeps you young at heart

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

As someone once said it's not the age that matters it's the milage!

Hello DrRobin.
Thanks so much for your reply and the welcome.
When you say Tong,is that Tong just shy of Brewood because if it is,we'd love that? xx

Hi facade!
Thank you so much for the welcome.
It's blue like your picture.Back in 98 mine was blue with white wheels. We'd like to do some modifications to ours and have a snorkel but i don't know what to do or would it invalidate the warranty? xx
