I have spoken to my Suzuki contact.

Most controllers are still available and I can get them, they are not cheap however!

Not only that but the contact said that even for the discontinued ones that Suzuki can get "pre-owned" (ie. used) modules in some circumstances. So get me the VIN number and if possible the part number stamped on the module itself

Hi, when reading your message again, it says that your man has said that suzuki still have them, which makes sense, as they are still making jimney, but I was told by the suzuki dealer, no longer available regards jeanette

Get a proper diagnosis done, in my experience the transmission controllers are not "high failure rate" items and the problems can be related to sensors, wiring and occasionally the solenoids in the transmission.

What model Jimny are you having trouble with?
