I am hoping to fit some diff breathers to my jimny this weekend, and so wanting to be prepared thought I would find out what's needed to do this?
I had a search around, and did find a link by Jonesyba420 on another thread, which would probably tell me what I wanted, but unfortunately the link no longer works, so I am afraid I am asking the question again!

thanks all.

I've used garden hose for years but the other day bought and fitted a proper diff breather system from the Bog Jimny Shop - www.4x4liftkits.co.uk/store/index.php?_a=product&product_id=211 and in all honesty I wish I'd done it years ago!

Hose pipe has done me proud but it does tend to do brittle after a while and split. The proper kit should do a far better job.

I just use hose pipe aswell. Cheap, get a bundle of it and fits perfectly without any drilling

It was this one I think.

But yes braided hose and jubilee clips will work fine. Just leave enough slack for axle movement and articulation.

May sound a dumb question as I am a complete novice in the car mechanics field, but as I want to do this job to mine, is it best to get the Jimny jacked up and on axle stands?

I may just start off with the diffs to try and keep it simple!
