2" lift, 215 75 15 Goodyear wranglers AT/R on 7" wide alloys = 235 to 240 miles before fuel light is displayed. This is a 2005 VVT softtop on the road

With standard Alloys and tyres = 250 to 260 miles. record is 270 miles

The Wranglers are a lot heavier and drag fuel consumption down.

Hope the above helps.

My fuel consumpton is excellent :silly:

When it's being towed at 26 mpg average.
And if I drive it on the road I can see the gauge dropping

I have never tried working it out. If I'm honest I have no idea how much it is per gallon or what I pay per litre. I just drive in and fill up. Maybe I should work it out!

I'm the same Dyl. Whatever economy I'm getting, it doesn't really matter. Drive it along, fill up when it's empty, drive it some more...

Even when you have economical cars, filling up always sucks and always seems expensive. But nothing will take you places a Jimny can for the same running costs, so it's worth it for that.

250ish miles to the tank. Mild AT Bridgestones and not hammering it anywhere. 2000 M13A Jimny. I've gotten 260 on occasion when it's cruising 5th gear 55mph on the motorway.

MPG doesn't come down to cost. You just need to divide the mileage by the amount of fuel (gallons) used to get that far. It's easiest to do with a full tank so you know exactly how much fuel you're carrying.

Worth trying a fuel additive to clean out the fuel system?
