Rear mud flaps on or off?

Thinking about taking em off but the screws feel pretty siezed so once there off there off so thought id get some views.

I offroad mine and they seem to collect and hide alot of mud etc which is probably a bad thing and youd see more of my beasty tyres B)

what are peoples thoughts about the pros and cons of our rubbery attachments?

I tried to take my fronts off yesterday, screws rounded instantly, left em on as I couldn't be arsed with the fight.

Better to take them off before they get ripped off so you should be good now you've got them off.

good choice, i took them off my old freelander, splashes more mud up the sides and makes it look higher off the ground (somehow)

Prefer none on the back - helps to remind the tailgaters to back off if you throw up some spray and stones :)

Hadnt really thought about them gettin ripped off untill I was removing them, could see me reversing up the side of a rut and the back tyre grabbing it and sucking it up.

think it looks better aswell, as you say looks higher, can see alot more tyre from the back, smoother looking back end aswell.

glad ive done it B)

Off defo. How can one appreciate the stance of those lovely tyre treads and wide wheels from the back with them on. Plus they are soon decrepit and soon create problems.

Cut 'em off............I know you have.

Now I feel I need spacers but not 32mm maybe 15mm.

all you see is people fitting 32mm spacers does anyone do smaller ones?

Smaller ones are around. Would be a good compromise and less harsh on your bearings than the full 32mm.
