Hi all, is the high beam wire easy to spot to connect to spotlights via a relay?

get a test light remove the plug from your headlight and test power with high beam on and off.... should do the trick....

I believe its the top wire going to the bulb, check with a multimeter. There earth switched so you want to earth the low current side of the relay via the high beam wire. i can do you a wiring diagram if you want.

You cant wire spot light in like that as thay are switched earth NOT switched live use the search secrion or in the yellow posts at the top of the main page

Cheers fellas, I think I've spotted the wiring diagrams on here for negative switching so all should be OK. Is it the case in the UK if spots arnt wired to main beam their an MOT fail?

I have 2023 gen4 lcv and need a clear diagram of how to fit the driving lamps relay from the high beam and having a switch on dash please.

 Hi @Spitfire9, on the 6 pins lamp connector, take trigger current to the relay from the BROWN wire, it's the one for HIGH BEAMS.
