Quite some time ago Redacted mentioned this as something that may be a contributory factor in wheel wobble and no one really commented if I remember correctly.

I don't know if it could be called "The reason" for wheel wobble but wheel wobble is definitely caused by a harmonic vibrating source and the forces on the wheels described in the video could be dependant on the road surface, which may go on to be the source of the harmonic vibration. Certainly when I had bad death wobble, one particular road and it's surface set it off badly at low speed.

I think it would be foolish to dismiss the notion completely and that it ought to be considered when trying to solve wobble if you have spacers.

It is my belief that Suzuki never have resolved the problem themselves on cars with standard steels let alone wider alloys. It may be that the bigger Suzuki alloys are just wider and do not have a different offset. Do they have a wider tyre than standard?

I have a Mode which cam standard with the 3 spoke (Toblerone) alloys... which have 205/70/15 tyres fitted as standard. I have 205/75/15 fitted now.

I also find 1 specific road sets my slight wheel wobble off... did this before i changed my king pins and pretty much immediately afterwards too!

Rod ends and everything all feel solid
