Phone or not, ace pics Nick ;)

I'm just about to fit a 2" lift onto mine.... does this mean I have to do something extra to reinstate the self-centering ?

Sorry for the hijack

Gus :)

Yes, you'll want to fit caster correction bushes. Available from big Jimny etc. I might for some eventually but I'm used to skittish wheel alignment on my sprint car so it doesn't bother me much.

A steering damper can help with the feel.

I relocated my front axle to reinstate the caster angle.....after fitting a steering damper all day long laning is quite sedate.....with thumb resting on the wheel where before I spent hours with white knuckles gripping the wheel! :D

Paintwork got ruined but a bit of t-cut seems to bring it back. The right side of this photo is what the whole car looks like, the left after a quick polish by hand.

Bought a rotary polisher and spent today de-scratching it and giving it a good clean.

My mate had some ramps he didn't want anymore. Time for an axel flex photo or two!

So Roger, a fellow MX5er, bought a Jimmy a few weeks a go to but had been suffering overheating problems. He'd fitted a new rad yesterday so today we thought we'd combine a pub lunch with our better halves and a short test and see if his overheating problems had gone.
