Test-driven, washed, and ready for our trip to the Lakes on Sunday...!

Phase One complete... will return to the build thread in a couple of weeks when hopefully the front LSD, 26 spline HD shafts and hooge HD CVs go in... With the diff having a trip to Scunthorpe and back again, for some magic from Rockwatt the God-of-gearing...

So that means an all-Jimny 'laning blog coming soon too!

The Lakes is awesome, Brett does know his lanes! Last time was ruined for me as my transfer box failed in low range and I had my fatty ex next to me. I need to do it again once I get my jimny back on the road.

I'd love to do it again and follow Brett showing him on my new Go-Pro from behind. And let him Edit the video as my crappy laptop cannot handle doing video editing. :blush:

I think he does, and he'll be scratching it on many lanes of the day ... except UCR2003 where he will need to skirt around it!!!

Dave: missed the bit about the LED light fitted on the front !
Supergaz: my passenger Colin is a 'go pro on a stick guy', I still have loads of footage from the last lakes weekend trip to sift through, edited it down to 2 hours so far.... More to come from this Sunday no doubt!

Colin polished my car today, very kind if him, snow foam the lot... Painted the ARB bumper , tyre wall black, polished 10 years if scratches out of it , hasn't looked that good since it was new !- trying to look as good as Daves for Sunday lol.

Yep I've still got the pajero Mick, so far it's done all the same lanes as my Jimny but in more comfort :laugh:
I had no problems on the rocky climbs when we laned in the lakes a few weeks ago so hopefully I won't let the guys down on this trip.
My pajero doesn't seem that big when it's parked next to modified jimny's but it does have a rather large turning circle :laugh:
