OK Guys and Gals,
As you will have read I have recently arrived with a 2006 Jimny. I have reshod her with some YOKO AT rubber to replace the perishing OE Bridgestones. At first refill I have we managed 40mpg so I am pretty happy with that. She is off to be waxoiled tomorrow. I don't want to lose the economy, but I would like to make her as capable as she can be within that restriction for the wilds of west Wales.
So the question is where do I start and how far do I take it?
Many thanks

Why not see how it performs as it is before you start spending out on mods.
You may be surprised just how good the Jimny is .......

Little Jim went to the body shop this morning to be pressure cleaned and waxoiled and sealed. Report is nothing to report except some surface rust - so very happy with that and look forward to collection tomorrow.

Let me see, Carmarthen is 30-40 miles away (down the road really) and St Clears is another ten from there. I live in North Ceredigion. Little Jim is a daily hack to get me to the church on time and to get to the field for the shoot or up the miles of lane etc. Do it all but not too extreme
