I am not the one arranging this but I will attend as this is only a couple of days drive from where I live.
Been there two times before and will answer any question you might have.
Very Nice and social event.

1074 miles and estimated 17 hours by car for me, via the Chunnel. A lot shorter by boat, 400 miles, but I doubt I can get my Jimny on my pals yacht and then we would be lucky to average 4 Kts.I am not the one arranging this but I will attend as this is only a couple of days drive from where I live. Very Nice and social event.

It is just 1000km one way 13.7 hours. plus the ferry. But i make a trip out of it, doing camping and overlanding along the way both directions. Last year i went straight down, but on the return trip went deep into the swedish forest to check out a few places. 600km extra. I will do the same this year, allready registered most of May as time off from work, and now I come into the office early and stay an hour extra allmost every day to make time to use later.
