Thought it was about time i updated you all on my jimny.
my dad has been hard at work fitting my lift kit, wheel spacers, winch which he built into my bumper then put in a 2nd battery to run it off, snorkle, tyres and cb.
today i was at wilton off road centre playing in the mud. it was still frozen so i ploughed my jimny through a couple of inches of ice to make it easier for the green ovals  .
and ive added pics as i know how much you all like them.

Very neat looking install, The winch will be great for helping our green oval friends!
Just thinking on how to wire up my winch, if to use a second big battery charged via a split charge relay?

mine is just wired up positive to positive and negative to negative there is no need for a spilt charger. my second battery is just a normal size not a large one.

You look like you've been having fun!!!

You'll be wanting bigger tyres to overcome those pesky ruts at some point in the future no doubt! I've experienced the same!

Your Jimny looks nice and tidy - even covered in mud - you certainly couldn't be accused of not trying!

You might find your normal car batteries don't like winching and give up the ghost earlier than expected. When they do, consider a single Numax as a replacement for both (might need to relocate it to the boot due to size) as I think it would be ideal for what you use it for - the same as me and I have one.

we were going to put one big one in but it wouldnt fit and dnt want to muck about to much, things have had to be moved around to get the 2nd battery in under the bonnet. so far not had any problems but will just see how it goes. my jimny is starting to get a few war wounds now but never mind im sure there will be more to come  . the tyres ive got on at the moment are quite big for jimny arches have had to be choped to stop the rubbing. couldnt go any bigger at the moment as it struggles with hills and speed with these ones on and its my only car so dont want to ruin it.
