Pulled through the cables for second battery in the back of jimny a couple months ago.
Had a battery box but was just to big for my liking.
Bought the front runner box that just fit a 105AH battery, but as I dont need that much capacity I decided to add a 75AH deep cycle and have space inside the box to add national luna battery charger/solenoid also in side the box.
The best about the box is it is perfect fit behind passenger seat.
3/4 is battery and 1/4 is charger/solonoid.
Also added national luna battery charger plug that charge from garage power 220 volt that can be plugged in when battery is not in jimny and standing in garage. That way battery can be charged / maintained when not in use.
Also added the national luna charge controler where you can see state of both batteries as well as allowing you to override the solonoid to give power back to main battery incase the main battery got down to low to start the vehicle.
Everything have been fused properly.
The solonoid inside box
The in from main and out to whatever like winch. Still need to add stickers for "IN" and "OUT" plugs
Charger and controler
With closed lid
From the out connection I intend to have lead going to small distribution box with things like sigaret plug and few usb' etc etc.. still deciding on distribution box details.
If i need power for winch / tire pump i just disconnect the distribution box and plug in the winch / tire pump leads to the "OUT" plug.
The controller is really nice.
The charger when in garage can be permanently be connected to maintain battery.
Also need to add proper battery clamps for box.

Adding fire extinguisher
Bought 1kg short from our builders warehouse locally
Made a bracket for passenger seat.
Fitted under front of passenger seat using passenger main bolts
Bottle added. Seat moved all the way back
Perfect fit and seat go nicely over the bottle. Seat move freely forward / backwards. Seat clear bottle easily. Here seat all way forward
More normal position.

Just the perfect gap under the seat,
I put mine under the drivers side
. Could be easier to reach if you are still in the vehicle.

Easy to swap around.
I will see. Maybe I might change it back. Was also thinking of ease of reach when under driver side.
