Hello everyone,
I'm Thiago Marques and I'm from Brazil.
I will tell you about my Jimny and about the Suzuki Jimny in Brazil.

The people here really love the Suzuki Jimny. In Brazil, we have the most common models from 2009 (VVT 1.3 16v) - 2020 (Jimny is still produced here today together with Sierra) .

I'm living in the capital of Brazil called Brasília/DF (no, Rio de Janeiro is not the capital of Brazil) and here we have a club of Jimny.
In Brazil, we have 26 states and is a big country. I know several clubs around the country and some of these states have Jimny clubs.

The model 2009 is the same mine.

My Instagram is @thiagossmarques

@paulei:

Here we have two special editions for the Jimny:

- Jimny Desert
- Jimny Forrest

Items: standard lift, rack, differentiated adhesives, larger wheels.
The difference from Desert to Forrest is small.
The leather seat is different and the panel paint is different.

"Brazil would not be Brazil" without our own inventions. I don't know if 'Jimny Canvas' exists elsewhere in the world. It's the convertible version of Jimny.

In this picture below its a 'Desert Edition'

Thank You Thiago for Your kind reply!
How many different type of engines do you have for those models?
I remember in the past times, when Fiat was building cars in a Brazilian factory that some model, for example the 127, was sold in Brazilian market with a special engine able to run with alcool made from sugar cane...
Is it still a Brazilian type of fuel?

Welcome along! Your Jimny looks great!

Do you have those meetings with other Jimnys often?

Hello Paulei,
how are you?
It's true, in Brazil we have a combustive derived of sugar cane.
The most automakers here build your models with the engine called "flex". This motor is able to accept gasoline and alcohol.
Excepted some cars "international" don't have this technology, generally, cars sold in other countries and that are assembled here. Unfortannaly Jimny is one of these cases despite having a car factory here.
But we have other cars "flex": Fiat Punto, Fiat 500, BMW 320i, Audi A3...
A curiosity: the engine with alcohol produces more power compared with gasoline (5 - 15cv or more depended on the size of the motor).
