Hi there,
Just purchased a new (to me) Jimny from a friend of mine (and forum member) so thought I'd register on here to get helpful info.
Some of you may recognize it from other posts - it's a 2005 Blue Hardtop with a 2" lift which I'm intending to modify for competing in a event series for a local club I'm a member of.
I had a very modified Samurai back in the day but I've been a Land Rover person for a few years now, so it's good to get back in the Suzuki fold at last.
Good to meet you all and I'm sure I'll be after some advice in due course.
Regards,
Stoo

Welcome along Stoo, that looks like a nice Jimny and one I recognise from following it around some lanes in the hands of Allan. Are you involved with the Twinaxle club?
Looking forward to seeing what you change and do with the Jimny.

Hi Benn,
Yes I bought it off Allan and I'm a member of the Twinaxle Club (and have been for years)!
So far I've done some cleaning and polishing - and fitted a snorkel!

Cleaning and polishing... That's something I really need to do to mine!
Is nice to hear that the Twinaxle club is still going strong. I went along to a few events with a friend many years ago before I had a 4x4 and think I remember you from possibly having an SJ at the time.
Good luck with the Jimny.
