I'd like to make them myself but have no expirience with pipe bender. Hot or cold? Filled with sand or no need?
I'd make them out of 1" 3mm walled pipe.

Seems a bit overkill but I'd bend that on the Hilmor bender on a stand....20mmx2mm wall is plenty strong....what are you putting up there?Mraz wrote: Keithy, any advice for pipe bending?

I can get 1" 3mm walled tube locally for peanuts so that's why I'd use that.
Nothing really, I just need something to do and don't like the original ones so I figure I'd give it a go
