Keithy, any advice for pipe bending?

I'd like to make them myself but have no expirience with pipe bender. Hot or cold? Filled with sand or no need?

I'd make them out of 1" 3mm walled pipe.

Can you do 1" cds tube :)

I think the hydraulic one does 2" so yeah it's doable!

It's the 12T machine mart one.

Seems a bit overkill but I'd bend that on the Hilmor bender on a stand....20mmx2mm wall is plenty strong....what are you putting up there?

I can use a hydraulic pipe bender like in the picture, just never used it. Should I fill it with sand or heat up?

I can get 1" 3mm walled tube locally for peanuts so that's why I'd use that.

Nothing really, I just need something to do and don't like the original ones so I figure I'd give it a go :)

I made mine with 20 & 25mm electrical conduit (because im an electrician). Its much lighter than 3mm wall, but surprisingly strong. My pipe bender only does those 2 sizes so that was why :-)
