There's still loads I want to do but having to pause the work at the moment due to budget constraints.
I'll get some details on the lift up when I get 5mins.

From top to bottom, Jimny rear, Jimny front and Crv rear spring.
So now things get heady..... How did I decide to do what I did?
Utilising the spring rate calculator found here www.reliablespring.co.uk/calculator.htm
and measurements provided for suplex springs, I calculated the spring rates for the standard jimny springs (105 for the front and 156 for the rear) and for the crv springs (121) and using the known compressed length of the standard jimny springs (by measuring mine) was able to work out the compressive force being applied to the springs font and rear. Then using the figures for the compressive force worked backwards to find the compressed length of the new springs. Given they are stiffer than the stock fronts and softer than the stock rears it provides a reasonably even ride height but typically despite all the calculations I fell foul of the jimny lean requiring a spacer to correct it.
I came across the astra shocks being suggested for use on the back end of a vitara so after much research on various other options they provide some of the longest travel of any shock out there at just under 12" of travel.
Cost? well the suplex crv springs are £27 each and the astra shocks around £16 each so relatively cheap and the ride seems okay so far.

The springs are a perfect fit, they go on upside down to how they are ment to be fitted to the crv but the ends are identical to the jimny springs.Statey wrote: Wow love it! Good use of knowledge on the springs and shocks! Do they need much modding to go in place? I can see this being a popular mod!

The shocks need the bushes swapping for the jimny ones or the metal bush reamed out to 12mm (which I did). After that they fit directly to the front but being pin top they need the rear mounts modified to suit. The floor I fitted is a flat piece of metal and the two bumps cover the rear shock mounts.
