I fitted and outside temp sensor today

Yeah I tagged onto the switched power supply to my radio.
On the cars I've had they were either clipped into the bumper (Vauxhalls), behind the front bumper ( Vauxhalls again) on the wing mirror (Audi, renault, Dacia)
Take the trim off behind the mirror on the inside of the car and undo the 3x 10mm head nuts. Undo wiring, then I carefully lifted te rubber sealing boot out of the way and fitted the probe. I didn't dismantle the mirror any further.

just curious as to whether anyone knows where most car temp sensors are actually fitted ?

I have a 'multi point' as in the pic below, the display is mounted on a 'formed' piece of alloy .. hth ...

How easy is it to see in that wee pocket?
That's the dilemma I have is where to put it if I buy a double din radio. I did think about modifying the ash tray opening to til the temp screen up. Yours Look like a neat install.
