Ok....today I snapped a spring winching like a dick! Strapped to a tree at the back and winching someone out of the mud, must have overloaded the spring! So, what springs are best? Running a lift of 2 to 3 inches (will need to check) and a heavy winch bumper.

Turns out I'm running a 5" lift from the paperwork I got when I bought the knackered old beast.
Apparently 3" lift on springs with a 2" spacer block, will check this evening to see if the spacer blocks are there or not and then get ordering.
At this rate I'll have bought enough parts to build a new one from scratch!

Ok, 3" lift springs refitted n the front, but turns out the shock was FUBAR. Have now ordered 3" lift shocks from JimnyBits and once they're in I can get the car to the garage where my RockLobster is patiently sat. Then I can finally get out again!
