Looking good, let us know how it applies where did you get it from ? if you do put the carpets back in its a great time to put down a load of sound proofing

Oh and install rear speakers great upgrade to the sound in a jimny ( if you haven't got them already)

Ok then :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: what do you do with your jimny then? Maybe you can get a rubber load liner from a van or something and cut it to shape so it protects those wires

Welcome. My second car is a 205 gti! I have installed an Mi 16 engine. I have owned a few of them now.

You are right I have had a 1986 and currently 1988 and no signs of rot. Such a shame jimnys rust especially when they are so capable in mud/snow. Yes we have lots of road salt here but not all cars suffer. Looks like you are well on the way to sorting that problem out though.
