One annoying little quirk I've found with my Jims is that, after it's been raining and you drop the driver's door window, as soon as it's down an inch the water pours in...think it's the way the roof/gutter area is designed, and I ALWAYS forget, so I ALWAYS get wet.....

.....could this be where your water is getting in, Irishguy?

Just read the progress thread going to help me a lot as I'm just about to cut my boot out for seeing what to expect is good!
The new panel... Did it have the threads for the rear seats or do they need welding in?

the seat mounting holes are on a plate that's spot welded to original floor. it is possible to drill off the welds
i can get you a pic tomorrow if you want
i also have a boot floor pan for sale PM me if interested
