They look like a type of trim clip called a push rivet, to me.

Fir Tree Clips fit, 10mm ones.
As for the tyres not catching the bodywork...depends on your radius arms , ORA are longer than others so tend to clear the rear of the front arch but on compression you will find that you catch the front body mount, whereas I have DG Tuning front arms which are shorter and the tyres catch on the rear of the front arch but clear the front body mount ... Ish.. !
I went up to 31's a while back, not sure it's the right choice as I feel they are too wide for the light jimny, no going back now I've fitted the Bushwacker arches tho lol. I've had all sorts in my time, 750/16's work well with a 6:1 T case, and I think 205/16's on jimnybits offset rims are a great 30" tyre without going too wide with a 4:1 T case. But they do look awesome on 31's lol
