Thanks everyone!
We had our first off-road experience today...looking forward to many more!
Does anyone know of any tracks in the Cheshire/Staffordshire area we could try?

Hi welcome to the forum all are welcome even Zombies ;) i found using OS maps on a 1 to 25000 scale was the best way to find local lanes to me and checking the county council's web sites they normally have a map showing the byways also known as boats. hope this helps.

Well I washed the Jimny yesterday and gave it the works so here are the pictures of the results.......only problem now is that Michelle won't let me get it dirty again :( It also looks like the mods will have to be subtle and covert ;)

Very clean ! Rare sight on the forum, ditch the chrome in favour of a small spacer lift and some at's :)

No lanes in Cheshire I'm afraid, not much in Stafordshire. Derbyshire is good but the antis are out in force there. Wales is best around Llangollen but don't go alone.

There is a great lane in staffordshire between Alrewas and Tamworth, it known as Elford lane as it in Elford..( funny that eh!) but not for the faint hearted I ripped off my brand new +4 passenger side shock (1 Day old) bent rear pan hard rod, got stuck for 2 hours and ripped the clutch out her!!!!! But fantastic fun!!!
