The love affair with the Jimny started on a "Jeep Safari" day on holiday...just couldn't believe what such a small car with a tiny engine could do...mountain climbing and river crossing being my favourites!
For the last 6 years I've had cars on contract hire, but decided this time to own a car.
After hours on autotrader looking for something in my price range and finding nothing, we were out driving Bank Holiday and saw this in pole position on a dealers forecourt-we had to have it!
Although she is 12 years old, she drives like a dream, we even overtook a new 4x4 Honda going uphill on an 18% slope...I can't stop smiling when I drive, it's such fun!
Hello to everyone on here, anyone fancying drives out in Cheshire, please let us know-my other half is RayD on this forum. Look forward to speaking to you!

Hi everyone, I'm Michelle's hubby (mechanic), she's right about this Jimny, it's been loved all it's life and doesn't look like it's ever got properly dirty in it's 12 year life, well that's definitely going to change  Well what's the point in having spanners unless you have a reason to use them ;)

I bought mine new in 2004, 3 hours after I drove it from the forecourt it had a 2" lift, castor bushes, extended brake lines, 7" modular wheels and 215/75/15's.... And was laning a day later where I ripped the sill cover off.... , )6 months dipwn the line it had a Robb Storr 4:1 lobster box, ARB bumper and a factory hardtop..... And it's still alive !

Hello and welcome........sounds funny post the pics lol.

Deep puddles combined with abit of speed results in water over the windscreen ;)

Here are a couple of pictures after we were made up, long day but how often do you get to be an extra in a film?

It was properly funny on the way home as I wound the window down as we went slowly past a bus stop with two young ladies chatting away, it went quiet for a second or two before a rather loud WTF!!!!
