thanks guy Yellowstreak we may just have to meet up and do some green laning at some point need to get some work done on the Jimny started yesterday.


jet washed the underside wire brushed it and am 1/3 through grease waxing it here some pics of the engine bay done front up to about half way along the drives door.

i sorted the rust spots out under the rear seats and in the boot.

then i removed the jack i found a hole should have removed the jack when looking at the car as i had read it was a common place for rust oops,

not to worry rust proofed it till i could get it fixed phoned my mate that has a garage to see if he had time to come look at it, he popped round said he could cut it out and weld a new section in for me phew only going to be £70, all this in the first 38 hours of owning the car. car is already in the garage to get the rust hole sorted. Yes im seriously loving the Jimny its not put me off

I got front tow points coming and a rear tow bar witch I will fit tow points to, and all the parts for a major service.

So i finally got the underside grease waxed only took me the best part of 11 hours painting and two brushes destroyed. could not get a good pic as is not jacked up. now waiting on parts.
