Just saying Hello

so finally got round to uploading some video's from last Sunday at Sibbertoft Pay & Play i was on 215/75R15 tyres. i think i have damaged a king pin so will be having a lot of work done soon will list it at a later date. here are the video's.






excellent day out.

so after the last play and play day i was having difficulty turning left. so on investigating this is what was found.

i had already intended to do the kingpins and wheel bearing as well as the front and rear breaks. i also fitted the 2" lift jimnybits springs and extended break lines and Procomp 1000 shocks. i also needed a new crankshaft sensor. I also removed the ARB and fitted a recovery point to the rear tow bar so as not to have to have the tow hitch bar attached till i need to tow a trailer. here are some pictures.

Crickey mate you must have worked it hard to do a cv with those tyres! At least you're sorted now.

Looks good though and like you're enjoying yourself!

I had it since January think kingpins had already gone but being new to jimnys never knew what to look out for it was on standard 205 tyres back then. i am in deed loving it a real joy to drive.

Fitted the Snorkel next is the diff breathers.

also got some AT's on the way.

Awesome - you fixed the CV OK then.

What size are the current tyres mate? Just wondering how you broke a CV with them as they are not aggressive MT's.
