Been busy installing a 2" Pro Comp lift

Had a few headaches such as breaking one of the rear lower shock bolts and having to drill it out, luckly I ordered the longer bolts. All and all I'm quiet impressed with myself as it is the biggest thing I have every done on a car mechanically speaking. Still need to install the caster correction bushes, I have to find someone with a press to do it for me.

Thanks Dirty Dogz for your guide, I have choosen to use alot of the same parts you used as well. Also thank you to everyone else who has answered my questions and/or giving me the inspiration, knowledge and confidence to modify my Jimny.

And yes the Jimnybits 2"lift is a great bit of kit and is very popular in the UK and OZ.

Well I think everything has settled a bit now with my 2" lift but I think I made a bad choice with the Procomp 1000 shocks. I'am finding the ride very soft causing the vehicle to be very jumpy as I drive. The main problem is I get a sore back everytime I drive it. I did not have a back problem when I first did the lift as the suspension was still stiff and new.

Anyone had this problem?
Thinking its more the rear end flopping around so looking at changing to some stiffer shocks in the back.

for me the 1000es are the best because they are really soft, but i drive slowly and this is why it's not a problem for me

Dnt take rough countrys cause theyre rockhard and i wonder were the suspension went?
