i have a jimny x reg exc condition but want to make it suitable for off roading nothing to serious yet mainly greenlaning and maybe up mountains some occasions , i what to put a lift kit on my jimny preferrbly 4-5" lift what parts would i need for all this can i have some help with this , also snorkel and offroad wheels and tyres as i have 0z alloys on them which i will be selling, this project i what to do will be over time but would like to get a lift kit sorted first and the cheapest way! if anyone has any answers please help, living in swansea way on offroad parts please let me know many thanks

For green laning you really don't need a lift... at a push go for a 2" lift

Green lanes are being ruined by folks running tractor tread like tyres... and it doesn't need someone else to churn them up further

For green laning i recommend some AT of MT tyres but nothing too aggressive.
If you want to attend pay and play days, lift it as you have said... but it'll be terrible on the road

cheers mate , i will be having another car for the road soon as i start this project , i was thinking more of a lift 3"-5" now ready for when i get into serious riding see , do you know if theres any pay and play days around the south wales area i live at swansea way and the mojoraty of people just use the local mountains, this project i will be over time as wont have the money to fork out straight away, could you help me with the best parts for a lift kit and best prices as i dont know much about this cheers mate nath
