bent front end was created by myers647
I took my new truck out last Sunday for the 1st time. It was a very good day until ten minutes before we were to leave I decided to give one last hill a go and from the second my front wheels went over the brow of the hill it went wrong and slid down the hill and directly into a tree. It was drawn to it like it was a magnet. The only way out of the situation was to be winched back up the hill off the tree then have the front end pulled to the left and let slowly back down by the winch so not to slide side ways into it. Not too much damage but still bent my new truck. It will come out with a bit of heat and a big hammer.
Thanks
James

No help to you now but i read an article about trackdays, best bit of advice i've read: No "one more go". If you've had a good day and the car is in one bit still then call it a day.
Its a bit boring but i always have it in mind now.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

yeah saying or even thinking "one more go" is a bad idea I learnt this from riding bikes years ago, still to this day I don't say it or do it! :)
