No mate Im after a metal font bumper I though you said you had a fabricated bumper you wasnt using ??? sorry im trying to entertain my 2 year old niece and read this forum. :laugh: :laugh:

Providing no sharp edges protrude then external cages are ok. With the general principle that rules cannot be applied retrospectivily then an X registered car will be fine.

Since 2007 there has been a lot of changes around "not altering the manufacturers designed and certified safety protection". This affects things like steel bumpers and potentially anything around the outside of the car.

Woohoo good job my Jim is 'out of the ark then'. :laugh:

The only problem arises when the shell needs replacing.......then the chassis........then the engine :laugh:

I am going to get one made for the car at some stage next week, have to drive it to the fabricator, if you like what you see then i can organise one for you
