We are new to the site and please excuse the shameless plug of my company in the background of the pictures as they happen!
I just picked this up last night and we intend to lift, stretch, pump up and generally make this as unbeatable an off roader as we can.
We will be updating as the work goes on but i am really looking for any advice from the experts here, theres nothing better than asking advice from people that know these cars better than anyone else!
Anyway, hi to everyone and hopefully its a start to making a cracking wee car!

Very clean car. Sounds like your gonna build a nice looking beast, and you have a head start with the best colour

Today's jobs:
New Competition Clutch
Timing Belt + Tensioners
Discs, Pads and shoes
Full flush and change
Filters
Plugs, Leads
Brake Fluid
Coolant Flush
Amazing for parts these wee things, £184 for the lot!
(Although it does help that i own a garage!)
I can group buy for these cars if anyone wants some help with parts, might not be a bad idea since i will be buying a hell of a lot for this one and you are welcome to use my discount if the order is all done at the same time.
This was last weekend's outing in a 20k defender which i had traded in and couldnt resist. Good tip in clay, wash the thing when the mud is wet, took all day to power wash it 24 hours after it had dried!

A standard Jimny is pretty capable already so if you have the time money and inclination to do some mods it quickly turns into a great fun toy.
Having a garage must make life a bit easier!

welcome
adding pictures is alway a problem on the forum software as it doesn't like big image files
either reduce the images to 2000 x 1600 saved as a jpeg or click on the imagelink in photobucket album and paste it into your post

In your first post you mention stretching the Jimny. That would be a big mistake as the main ability of them is the short wheelbase.
