agree jimny great in snow drove over the north york moors last xmas eve even though it was closed by the mountain rescue team , on the downside i got all the callouts at work because the manager knew i could get there in my little 4x4 .

You aren't too far from us as we are about 10 miles south west of Carlisle, where I work.
Strangely I too replaced the first vac pipe off the manifold this morning as my daughter complaned that the 4wd light was flickering- I set off envisaging the whole manual hubs fitting scenario and couldn't believe my luck when I spotted the hole in the pipe where it flexes on the manifold spigot!
